Saturday In Pictures

I know I'll be too flat-out busy freaking out about university tomorrow, so for this week your Sunday in Pictures will in fact depict Saturday.

So...

We keep our eyes shut well into the morning...
... until the rest of the world opens its petals for the midday sun.
We sit outside in the sunlight, starting the day with lunch...
... and I feel as lazy as the fat pussycat sprawled out over the cobblestones as though he were a lion.
I catch the afternoon light on the window seat with a fair but drowsy lioness...
...content in my exquisitely relaxed Saturday with the sweet animals and wonderful boy that I love.
Go away, busy Sunday!

God is in the Rain

God is in every ripple.
God is in every sunshower.
God is in every lightened path.
God is shelter from the storm.
God is friendship.
God probably isn't in a hot cup of tea, but it's still pretty wonderful.
God is in every rainbow.

Sunday in Pictures

Firstly, let it be said that the weekend and the sunlight calls for Watermelon.
Succulent.
As can probably be gleaned from my many pictures, I am a great fan of sitting in Victoria Park with friends. And such beautiful friends I have. They really brighten up and chill out an otherwise hectic existence.

I live for the love of dappled light and sticky humid grass and golden green trees and summer freedoms, but mostly thanks for daylight savings and the exquisite sunsets I can watch every day...

Eggs...

... are delicious and nutritious.

Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can put anything in them. Good with fruit and toast. Yummy.
