Day Two, and Spring has Sprung

Spring means...

Cherry-blossoms in sumptuous full bloom,

Sandals and canvas pants treading over clover patches,

The big blue sky staying blue,

Baby duckies!

And picnics with beautiful friends.

In other news, today's self portrait comes courtesy of Venetian blinds. Couldn't decide between these two so I'm just going to put them both up.

I adore those venetian blind legs! absolutely.. what a great idea. And you are right; spirng is all of those things... how marvellous it is; I am looking forward to the blossoms, blooming trees and bushes (jacaranda, gardinias, hygrangeas) and of course to the mulberries! I wish I'd seen those baby duckies too; but it was lovely to have a picnic with you - as it always is...

I have a Mulberry tree outside my daughter's bedroom window. It has been there for generations, of Tullys. I will post some photos when it is in full bloom!

Mulberries... I cannot think of anything I'd like to eat more. I don't know if I could handle looking at pictures of your wonderful tree, Shell, I might eat my computer screen. Sounds lovely all the same :)
